MADAME. GU NAI NAI

Madame. Gu Nai Nai is a 2022 Pre Fall collection. The inspiration was coming from a documentary called "Madame".
"Nothing is masculine or feminine, I just choose what I like to wear", said Fan Qi Hui in his documentary. I was inspired by his attitude toward his life. The connection between Fan Qi Hui, Judy Chicago, and Francis Bacon promoted me to use them as my source of inspiration. 
In this project, I designed my collection with an androgynous style and combined sculptural knitting. Moreover, I created my color story based on Francis Bacon's paintings. The patterns are inspired by Judy Chicago. The silhouettes are oversized and sculptural.
